Islam is of the Devil?

Islam sign

How is this helpful exactly?  You can read the church's explanation here

Could they at least have gotten the letters straight and used a nicer looking sign?  I hope that wasn't a Sunday school craft project.  They even have T-shirts. I would've bought one just to use for illustration, but they're $20... come on!  That iron-on red lettering much have been really expensive. Maybe it's another Sunday School craft project.

May I make a suggestion... if you want to convince someone that Jesus loves them, blasting them with any sentence containing 'Devil' is not really productive. Jesus only did that three times that I can find.  Once, calling Peter 'Satan' for trying to take charge of God's plan (Matt 8:33), once commenting about Judas for betraying him (John 6:70), and another time to the Pharisees for their lack of faith in him (John 8:44). These were all 'internal' meaning he insulted other Jews as a fellow Jew. You never see Jesus calling the Samaritans or Romans 'Devil.'   Paul called Elmyas a Devil too (Acts 10:38), but he was a sorcerer.

How about this little guy protestingL... what do you say? (credit)
