Come on now

How is it that Zionists can deny that Israel's persecute Messianic believers? It is well published. Try 'Googling' it sometime.  Seems that for some:

Stats that don't support my opinion=PROPAGANDA
Stats that do support my opinion=FACT

I suppose I'm guilty of the same occasionaly (please point it out if I ever do that).

Seemingly in response to our exchange and my post... my Zionist Israeli settler friend quoted what he calls 'propaganda' in citing David Maalouf a Christian peace activist:

"For Palestinian Christians, the Holy Land today does not provide a blessed life...Father Justinus, a Greek Orthodox priest, has been attacked numerous times by Israeli settlers who wish to repossess the well. Today, roughly 50,000 Christians remain in the West Bank -- less than 4% of the population, a figure which was 40% before Israel was created. Even, Jesus' birthplace, Bethlehem, is no longer majority Christian.
While some have sought to blame Muslims for the decline, in a 2006 poll of Christians in Bethlehem, 78% attributed the ongoing exodus of Christians from Bethlehem to the Israeli travel restrictions on the area." (emphasis Mr. Medad's)

Everyone knows that Muslims persecute Christians the world over on a broader scale than just the Holy Land, much do to the numbers of scale. There are how many Muslim majority nations, vs. Jewish majority?

But the fact remains, that in the only Jewish state Christians are persecuted. And it's wrong in both cases, but especially when Israel claims to allow freedom of religion, and protect the rights of minorities.  Most Muslim states don't claim that.

Israel (and Israeli - Zionist bloggers) boasts about protecting its minority Christian population, and allowing freedom of religion (ie freedom to 'convert' vis a vis Messianic Jews), when in effect, it has been hard at work to minimize the Muslim and Christian populations in order to maintain a majority, prevent missionary activity, and the outreach of Evangelical ministries and churches.

Come on, the first step to peace is admitting there's a problem.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, and all its inhabitants.
